The Texas Rangers and Boston Pilgrims delighted fans at Fenway Park II.

Boston Pilgrims starter Johnny Cueto was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Texas Rangers, 5-2. David Phelps notched his 15th save in 18 chances.

The Pilgrims got a lift from second baseman Curt Flood who had a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth inning off Bert Inks. It was his 15th double of the season and put Boston in front, 2-1.

Flood called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

Boston has now won 16 straight.
