Weihe Hits 2 home runs in Cubs Win
The Seattle Cubs knocked off the Houston Black Aces, 8-4, at Aces Pavillion. Podge Weihe was a big reason Seattle won. The second baseman belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Cubs raised their record to 54-78.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Travis Hafner to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cubs on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Weihe told the Seattle Gazette.
