Lake Monsters Turn Away Ambassadors, 3-1
The Cleveland Lake Monsters defeated the Pittsburgh Ambassadors, 3-1, in Phoenix Baseball League action at Cleveland Stadium. Cleveland pitcher Brendan McKay had a standout performance. The Lake Monsters raised their record to 60-97.

Dave Stegman was a prime factor in the win for the Lake Monsters. In the bottom of the fourth with one out, the 24-year old center fielder hit a solo home run. He went 1 for 4 with a home run.

McKay called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
