| Yankees Raise Rally Flag, Beat San Diego, 3-2 | New York rode a fine outing from starter Sean Manaea to victory over the San Diego Padres at Yankee Stadium I. The final score was 3-2. The Yankees bumped their record to 39-36 with this win.
In the bottom of the eighth, New York right fielder Bryce Harper hit a run-scoring single to right field. It put the Yankees up, 3-2.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Harper told the New York Citizen.
