| Rangers Drop Another One, 21-4 | The Houston Black Aces beat the Texas Rangers, 21-4, at Aces Pavillion. Houston third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall had an outstanding performance. He was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. Houston starter Miles Mikolas was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. The victory gives the Black Aces a record of 52-32.
Bill Freehan, who is a five-time Calgon Soft Hands Award winner, aided the Houston cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
