| Rangers Collect 13-7 Win Versus Houston | The Texas Rangers dumped the Houston Black Aces, 13-7, in large part due to catcher Matt Wieters. On the day, Wieters was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Rangers. The 5th-place Rangers go to 39-47.
Also making an impact was shortstop Al Dark, who drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning for the Rangers. For the game, Dark went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
