| Pilgrims Win, Now 98-55 | Boston and Texas met in a late-season matchup.
Boston Pilgrims left-hander J A Happ pitched a good game against the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium, leading his team to victory, 6-3. Cody Allen earned his 19th save in 20 tries.
Mickey Mantle, who is tied for 2nd in the PBL with a 1.003 OPS, aided the Boston cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Mantle said after the game.
With the win, Boston raised its record to 98-55.
