| Black Aces Lose, 3-1 | Texas starter Felix Hernandez had a strong outing against the Houston Black Aces at Aces Pavillion. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. Albert Pujols, the 22-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Pujols contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Texas up, 2-0.
