 | Marichal Picks up PBL Monthly Pitching Honor Friday, October 1st, 1999 Juan Marichal has made fans throughout Phoenix Baseball League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Phoenix Baseball League threw better in September, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 4 starts Marichal compiled a 1.38 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 25 and tossing 26 innings. This season Marichal has compiled a 10-9 mark, 5.15 ERA and made 32 starts. |   |
