 | Black Aces Heading to Challenger Round Wednesday, October 6th, 1999 The Houston Black Aces have advanced to the Challenger Round, with a 13-3 triumph at Aces Pavillion over the Pittsburgh Ambassadors. The win sealed a 4-2 series win for Houston. The series MVP honor went to Black Aces third baseman Ossie Bluege. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Bluege said afterward.
