 | PBL Selects Top Manager, Pilgrims Wallace Wins Sunday, November 7th, 1999 An outstanding season by the Pilgrims garnered their manager Mike Wallace the Phoenix Baseball League Manager of the Year award for 1999. He led Boston to a 103-59 record this year and a second place finish in the PBL. Even so, Wallace seemed less than thrilled.
