 | Clyde Spectacular in 3-0 Win Wednesday, August 18th, 1999 David Clyde kept the Anaheim Sailfish hitters from doing any damage at Ballpark of Anaheim today. Anaheim could only muster 2 hits and take 4 walks against the left-handed Clyde, who controlled them throughout the game as Des Moines took the contest, 3-0. Clyde added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Clyde told reporters after the shutout win.
