| Ghostriders, Ramos Buzz Riverdogs, 2-0 Friday, August 20th, 1999 Pedro Ramos of the Richmond Ghostriders humiliated the Charleston Riverdogs at Richmond Fields today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Charleston manager Tom Paciorek, after the game.
Ramos whiffed 8 and walked 0 in the 2-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Ramos said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
In 8 starts this season Ramos has compiled a 6-2 record and a 2.13 ERA.
