| Blue Claws Plugged by Hatafuku, Ghostriders, 3-0 | Toshihide Hatafuku of the Richmond Ghostriders humiliated the Virginia Beach Blue Claws at Richmond Fields today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 6 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Virginia Beach manager Bobby Cox, after the game.
Hatafuku whiffed 12 and walked 2 in the 3-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Hatafuku said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
To date Hatafuku is 8-1 in 14 starts with a 2.36 ERA and has 84 strikeouts in 107 innings. | |
