The Pittsburgh Ambassadors topped the Houston Black Aces, 4-0, in Phoenix Baseball League action at Aces Pavillion. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pittsburgh pitcher Bobby Shantz. Shantz, now 1-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Houston drops to 14-14.
