Wildcard Goes the Distance, Houston Prevails
The Houston Black Aces and San Diego Padres held nothing back in an entertaining Wildcard that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Houston advancing to the Divisional, after a 2-0 triumph in the final game at Jack Murphy Stadium, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Black Aces players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Padres.

Dave Parker was named series MVP for Houston. For the series, Parker hit .462 with a .517 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Houston Black Aces will play against the Seattle Cubs in the next round. Seattle had a bye in the Wildcard. The Divisional schedule will be announced after the Wildcard finishes.
