| Rangers Tagged with 7-3 Loss | The Boston Pilgrims beat the Texas Rangers, 7-3, at Fenway Park II. Billy Werber went 1-2 with 2 walks and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. The 26-year old third baseman was a menace to Texas all day. Boston raised its record to 27-18 with the win.
With runs few and far between, the Pilgrims had to seize their opportunities when they came.
