Rangers Net 6-5 Win Over Ambassadors | The Texas Rangers bested the Pittsburgh Ambassadors, 6-5, at Allegheny Park. Gene Woodling was one of the standouts. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win for the Rangers lifted their record to 30-25.
Woodling contributed in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Texas get the win.
