Cabrera Helps Houston Outscore Pittsburgh
The Houston Black Aces and Pittsburgh Ambassadors completed their game despite the inclement weather.

In a high-scoring game between Houston and Pittsburgh, designated hitter Miguel Cabrera was a difference-maker. The 29-year-old helped Houston grab the 20-10 win. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Ray Kremer picked up the win in relief for Houston, while Larry Cheney took the loss.

Cabrera put Houston up, 20-10, when he hit a 3-run home run off Octavio Dotel in the top of the eighth. His 5th home run of the season helped the Black Aces capture the win.

"I like our moxie," said Black Aces manager Jimi Patricola.

Houston now has a record of 39-26 with the win.
