| Killebrew Goes Deep Twice in 7-3 Ambassadors Win | Harmon Killebrew drove in 4 runs to help Pittsburgh defeat San Diego, 7-3. The first baseman had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Ambassadors. Clay Bryant notched his 17th save in 19 chances. At 33-40, the Ambassadors are currently 7th in the PBL.
Killebrew put Pittsburgh up, 4-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Fred Hutchinson in the top of the first. His 11th home run of the season helped the Ambassadors capture the win.
In postgame comments to the Pittsburgh News, Killebrew said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
