| Werber Helps Pilgrims Run Win Streak to 7 | Billy Werber was a major contributor to the 9-7 Boston win over Houston. The Pilgrims third baseman went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Freddie Fitzsimmons earned the win to go to 5-5. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. David Phelps earned the save, his 11th in 13 tries.
