Boston and Texas slugged it out at Arlington Stadium.

Sam West impressed in the 22-15 Boston win over Texas. West, who is tied for 9th in the PBL with a .329 batting average, was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The triumph puts Boston at 49-33 for the season.

An important at-bat for Boston came with no one out in the top of the fifth. With the bases loaded, West hit a 2-run single, which contributed to the Pilgrims win.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Boston manager Mike Wallace.
