Starting pitcher Denny McLain had a solid game. He was a big reason the New York Yankees throttled the Houston Black Aces, 8-0. New York now has a record of 57-52 with the win.

"I thought we played a nice game," McLain told the New York Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
