| Rangers Jolt Ambassadors, 9-7, with Late Rally | The Pittsburgh Ambassadors got a superb performance from designated hitter Shannon Stewart. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Texas. The Rangers won the game, 9-7. Stewart went 1 for 1 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Texas, at 54-75, sits in 7th place in the PBL.
Albert Pujols, who is tied for 8th in the PBL in extra base hits with 57, aided the Texas cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.
"Glad to go home with a win," said Pujols.
