| Black Aces Take Down Cubs, 3-2, in 10 | Houston Black Aces starter Miles Mikolas hurled his team past the Seattle Cubs, 3-2. Houston reliever Sean Doolittle picked up the win, while Dick Robertson took the loss for Seattle. With the win, Houston upped its record to 80-51.
Tony Lazzeri delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Black Aces. For the game, Lazzeri went 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
