Yankees Lose to Black Aces, 5-3 | The Houston Black Aces defeated the New York Yankees, 5-3, at Yankee Stadium I today. Leading the charge for Houston was center fielder Tuck Stainback. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The winner was Kevin McGlinchy in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Stan Belinda took the loss. New York has now lost 4 in a row.
Jerry May came through for Houston when he hit a 2-run double in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a 0-2 fastball to left field, staking his team to a 5-3 lead.
