| Pilgrims Drop 5-1 Decision | Houston played host to Boston at Aces Pavillion.
Houston rode a good effort from starter Miles Mikolas to beat the Boston Pilgrims at Aces Pavillion. The final score was 5-1. The triumph puts Houston at 90-58 for the season.
Houston took a 5-1 lead on Bill Freehan's 19th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Boston pitcher Freddie Fitzsimmons in the bottom of the eighth.
"The harder you work," said Freehan, "the luckier you get."
