Pujols goes 4-for-5, Rangers Move to 12-7 | The home crowd had a good time watching the Pittsburgh Ambassadors and Texas Rangers get after it.
No one was more impactful than Albert Pujols in the 11-6 Texas win over Pittsburgh. Pujols, who leads the PBL in doubles with 9, was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Texas reliever Michael Tonkin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Adam Cimber took the loss.
In the bottom of the second, Pujols had one of his most important at-bats: a run-scoring single off Michael Jackson that staked the Rangers to a 3-2 lead.
"Good win for our guys," said Pujols.
The Rangers raised their record to 12-7. | | | | |
