 | Another Setback For Cleveland's Heinie Berger Tuesday, August 24th, 1999 Heinie Berger's return to the Cleveland Lake Monsters has been delayed. The 30-year-old starting pitcher has been in treatment for a dead arm and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Berger will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least 6 days. This season Berger has 7 wins and 3 losses and a 3.87 ERA. |   |
