 | Hollocher Bags PBL Best Player Award Monday, August 30th, 1999 Charlie Hollocher did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Phoenix Baseball League Player of the Week Award. The shortstop hit .500 for the Cubs, recording 13 hits in 26 at-bats, no home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
