| Final PBL Championship Features Boston and Tampon Bay Monday, October 18th, 1999 It all comes down to this, two teams that have but one PBL title each will face off for the ultimate award in this long running league. The Boston Pilgrims have been chasing the Tampon Bay Pussies all season and now the stage is set.
The Pussies won the regular season race by two games over the Pilgrims, while compiling a 13-8 record in head to head play. Pilgrim manager, Michael Wallace at a presser said "we've been up their butts all season and it's time to turn them around and give it to them Pussies real good". Dan LaHousse, manager of the aformentioned Pussies simply said "we can take it all in any hole but we with be full of victory after this series is over".
