| Rangers Win, 10-2 | The Texas Rangers topped the Cleveland Lake Monsters, 10-2, in Phoenix Baseball League action at Cleveland Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas left fielder Albert Pujols. Felix Hernandez got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. With their winning streak at 4, the Rangers have raced to a strong start this season.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fifth when Pujols, who is rated as the 2nd best prospect by BNN, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Rangers into the lead, 4-2.
"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Texas skipper Joe Johnson.
