| Cubs Edge Black Aces, 5-4 | The Seattle Cubs picked up a win at Wrigley Field, taking down the Houston Black Aces, 5-4. Starting pitcher J A Happ was a big reason why. Rosie Rosebraugh closed the game out for Seattle, earning his 2nd save. The loss drops the Black Aces to 11-12.
The Seattle triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Chris B Young. In the bottom of the eighth, the Seattle pinch hitter hit a 2-run home run. It staked his team to a 5-4 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Young.
