Cleveland Advances to PBL World Series
A 3-1 triumph at Cleveland Stadium has wrapped up the League Championship for the Cleveland Lake Monsters.

"We're off to the PBL World Series," said Lake Monsters center fielder Kirk Gibson, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the San Diego Padres by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said.

The PBL World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes.
