| Yankees Get 9-3 Win Versus Philadelphia | The Philadelphia Stars and New York Yankees delighted fans at Yankee Stadium I.
New York left fielder Bobby Veach made his presence felt in the 9-3 Yankees triumph over the Philadelphia Stars. Veach was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The win for the Yankees raised their record to 22-21.
An important at-bat for New York came with no one out in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Veach hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Yankees win.
