| Pilgrims Subdue Pittsburgh, 4-3 | The Pittsburgh Ambassadors and Boston Pilgrims provided some drama for the home crowd.
Boston starter Roger Clemens had a strong outing against the Pittsburgh Ambassadors at Fenway Park II. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Van Mungo recorded his 1st save for Boston.
Josh Hamilton had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Boston. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Boston in front, 4-2.
"Roger was pounding the zone," said Boston manager Mike Wallace.
The triumph puts Boston at 30-24 for the season.
