| Lock Goes Off, But Pilgrims Win | Pittsburgh right fielder Don Lock had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Boston at Allegheny Park. Lock hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Cody Allen earned the save, his 21st in 22 tries. The Pilgrims have an impressive 103-59 record.
Del Gainer was vital part of the Boston win. He was 3 for 6 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the second with two out, Gainer hit a 2-run single. It made the score 4-0, in favor of the Pilgrims.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Gainer said.
