The Lake Monsters catcher banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Fenway Park II to lead his club past the Boston Pilgrims. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Jorge Posada singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Posada is batting .286 with 9 home runs.
