| Late Rally by Pilgrims Secures 6-5 Win | Behind the hitting of Sam West, the Boston Pilgrims stopped the Cleveland Lake Monsters, 6-5. West went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Pilgrims. The win gives Boston a season record of 23-15.
The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to West. Facing Scott Williamson with runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Boston right fielder had a 2-run single. Game over, walk-off style!
