Tampon Bay starter Jim Bunning pitched well against the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-4. With the win, the Pussies sit at 38-15.

With no one out in the top of the seventh, Jim Wynn put Tampon Bay in front, 6-4, with a 2-run home run. The Pussies went on to win the ballgame.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Wynn said.
