Tiernan goes 3-for-3 as Black Aces Squeeze Past Tampon Bay
Both teams had their chances, but the Houston Black Aces eventually prevailed.

Black Aces designated hitter Mike Tiernan put his stamp on his team's 10-9 win over the Tampon Bay Pussies. Tiernan was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times for Houston in the contest. The victory gives Houston a record of 32-24.

An important at-bat for Houston came with no one out in the top of the sixth. With the bases empty, Tiernan hit a solo home run, which contributed to the Black Aces win.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Tiernan told the Houston Gazette.
