| Black Aces Stumble, Lose to Stars | The Philadelphia Stars picked up a win at Connie Mack Stadium, knocking off the Houston Black Aces, 8-3. Starting pitcher Pete Alexander was a big reason why. Alexander, now 8-7, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Philadelphia has a record of 39-50, placing them 8th in the PBL.
