Cleveland Lake Monsters starter Heinie Berger was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Pittsburgh Ambassadors, 5-3. Reyes Moronta notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Pittsburgh drops to 5-6.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Cleveland trailing 3-2, Junior Spivey hit a slider from Lynn Brenton for a 3-run home run, giving the Lake Monsters the walk-off win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Spivey said.
