| Ambassadors Rally For Late Win Over Lake Monsters | Getting offensive support from Yordan Alvarez, the Pittsburgh Ambassadors topped the Cleveland Lake Monsters, 8-7. Alvarez was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Ambassadors. Pittsburgh is now 75-83.
Anderson, Indiana-born Adam Lind came through in the clutch. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st and the Ambassadors trailing 7-6, he hit a 2-run home run to right to put Pittsburgh on top.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Alvarez said.
