| Pussies Stymie Cleveland, Take 5-1 Win | The home crowd had a good time watching the Cleveland Lake Monsters and Tampon Bay Pussies get after it.
Tampon Bay starter Smoky Joe Wood had a strong outing against the Cleveland Lake Monsters at Pamprin Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The loss puts Cleveland at 3-5.
Tampon Bay took a 4-1 lead on Trevor Story's 1st double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Story hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cleveland pitcher Cal Koonce shaking his head.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Wood said.
