Boston Gets 6-2 Win Against Lake Monsters | In the 6-2 Boston win over Cleveland, the impact of Billy Werber was substantial. Werber, who finished 2nd in the PBL in doubles with 46 last year, went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs. The winning pitcher was Johnny Cueto. He tossed 87 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. David Phelps was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 11 save opportunities.
