| Pussies, Allen Pin Bad Loss on Cubs | The Tampon Bay Pussies grabbed a win, 10-1, over the Seattle Cubs at Wrigley Field. Tampon Bay third baseman Dick Allen went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Smoky Joe Wood, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 6-3.
