Stars Rally to Eke Out Win | Benefiting from Elmer Flick's productive game, the Philadelphia Stars downed the Seattle Cubs, 6-5. Flick went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Stars. The Stars now have a mark of 41-51.
The Stars procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Brandon Inge. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"This place was electric at the end," Flick said. | | | | |
