| Burks has 3 hit night, Pussies Move to 88-45 | Tampon Bay right fielder Ellis Burks had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Pittsburgh Ambassadors, 7-6. Tampon Bay pitcher Mike O'Neill got the win. He's now 2-0. Ubaldo Jimenez was tagged with the loss. With the win, Tampon Bay pushed its record to 88-45.
Burks had a big hit for Tampon Bay with one out in the bottom of the third. With Tampon Bay leading 4-1, Burks hit a 3-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Pussies up, 7-1.
"Good team win," Burks said. "I love it when a plan comes together."
