Black Aces Earn 6-5 Win Versus Philadelphia | Randy G Johnson had a good game, but he could not keep the Philadelphia Stars from falling, 6-5, to the Houston Black Aces at Connie Mack Stadium. The Philadelphia second baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times in the loss. Houston reliever Ben Sheets picked up the win, while Jim LaMarque took the loss for Philadelphia. The win gives Houston a record of 9-8.
